About Us
Our mission: is to develop and provide an outstanding outdoor sporting facility for playing, teaching, and understanding the game of Petanque. We are a friendly group of active people who enjoy a social and pennant game of petanque in our beautiful outdoor country setting. We also enjoy social interaction through activities such as mid-game "drinks and nibbles", regular Club Dinners and day-trips, as well as bar-b-ques at our home terrain. MPPC is affilliated with the Petanque Federation of Australia and the Victorian Petanque Clubs Inc. and all members must have a PFA licence [Please see Membership information-Benefits] of PFA Membership. Members are kept informed of Club Activities and general news with a Monthly Newsletter, email broadcasts, and the website.
Our Values:
Respect: We play with fairness, integrity and respect for all.
Inclusion: Everyone is welcome - all ages, backgrounds and abilities.
Community: We build friendship and create a strong sense of belonging.
Enjoyment: We celebrate the fun, relaxation and wellbeing petanque brings.
Growth: We support each other to learn, improve and enjoy the game
Tradition: We honour the French roots of petanque while embracing our local spirit.
The Mornington Peninsula Petanque Club is dedicated to promoting the sport of petanque within the community, by providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for players of all skill levels. We aim to foster camaraderie, sportsmanship, while encouraging social connection and an active lifestyle on the Mornington Peninsula
