MPPC CHRISTMAS LUNCH
at Mornington, Tanti 23rd November
November 23rd saw another big day to remember for the club. 39 members and friends gathered together for our annual Xmas Lunch. With a busy program and a seniors lunch and desert, the scene was set for a 'let your hair down' afternoon. After a welcome from President Greg Power, Club Champions Sean and Gill were awarded their respective trophies, and Santa made a rousting entry with free lollies for all. With 'Under the Chair' spot prizes, Raffles of Hampers, to 'Sing along the next line' the room started swaying. The trio of Greg, JVB and Bob sung a vague rendition of "You never can tell", and JVB did a double song of Xmas in Dutch. Finishing off the afternoon with everybody joining in to sing portions of 'Do Wah Diddy Diddy' and many breaking out in dance Shakin' Stevens 'the best Christmas of them all'. It was great to see the laughing faces and privility amongst our members. Well done to all the volunteers and of course all the members who helped make it an afternoon to remember.
