Welcome

Welcome to the Mornington Peninsula Petanque Club Website

Mornington Peninsula Petanque Club, MPPC

Our mission is to develop and provide an outstanding outdoor sporting facility for playing, teaching, and expanding the understanding of the game of Petanque.

We are a friendly group of active people who enjoy a social game of Petanque in the outdoors. We also enjoy social interaction through activities such as after-game “drinks and nibbles”, the occasional dinners or barbecues…. and Fund-raising events such as Cinema Nights, Trivia and Games Nights.

MPPC is affiliated with the Petanque Federation of Australia and the Victoria Petanque Clubs Inc. and all MPPC Members must have a PFA Licence. Please see Membership Information – Benefits of PFA Membership.

Members are kept informed of Club Activities with a monthly Newsletter, email broadcasts and website.

Our Vision

Our Vision is to develop a prime Petanque Centre to promote a healthy and relaxed way of improving quality of life across all age groups and abilities. We will actively encourage and offer the opportunity for outdoor participation and social interaction to all communities between Rosebud and Mount Eliza.

Training and Coaching

Training is provided informally by experienced club members and from time to time structured training sessions are held and members advised accordingly.   Structured Training is currently being reviewed by our Committee and the revised program will be offered to members as part of our Skills Development Program as soon as this is finalised.

Petanque Federation of Australia have accredited Coaches on the Mornington Peninsula who conduct Coaching Sessions involving all Peninsula Clubs.
